Joe Biden ran for president in 2020 on three main pillars: the battle for the soul of our nation, the need to rebuild our middle class, and a call for unity. Since becoming President of the United States in 2021, Joe has emerged as one of the most effective presidents in American history. He has ushered in transformational legislation to help Americans recover from the tragic COVID-19 pandemic, rescue America from the resulting economic slowdown, and meet the moment on climate change with the Inflation Reduction Act.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Joe Biden went on to represent Delaware for 36 years in the U.S. Senate. In 2009 he became the 47th Vice President of the United States to the historic presidency of Barack Obama. During his tenure as Vice President, Joe helped President Obama pass major bills including the massively popular and groundbreaking Affordable Care Act. His efforts earned him the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction — the nation’s highest civilian honor.
